Our Process

The first step is a conversation. Drop us a message or give us a call with a brief description of what you’re looking for. There’s no commitment at this stage – we just want to understand the project before we meet.

We’ll arrange a time to come and see the space in person. This lets us assess the work properly, answer any questions you have, and give you a clear, itemised quote. We don’t price jobs without seeing them.

Once you’re happy with the quote, we’ll confirm the scope of work and agree a start date. We’ll talk through what access we’ll need, how long each stage is likely to take, and anything you should do to prepare.

Good preparation is what gives a quality finish its longevity. Depending on the job, this stage might involve stripping existing surfaces, filling and sanding walls, skimming damaged plaster, or priming woodwork. We handle all of this – you don’t need to prepare anything beyond making the space accessible.

We get on with the job efficiently and respectfully. We work to a high standard throughout, keep the space as tidy as possible while work is ongoing, and flag anything unexpected as soon as it comes up rather than working around it.

If anything changes – the timeline, the scope, a decision that needs making – we’ll let you know straight away. You’re always welcome to check in and ask questions.

Once the work is complete, we’ll walk through the project with you to make sure everything is finished to your satisfaction. We tidy up fully before we leave and won’t consider the job done until you’re happy with the result.
